We came to Lomond park hotel for the 4th time now, it was a friends 30th and what a night it was! We started off at the hotels bar and followed to the nightclub across the road, we all went to the loch which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Rooms are cosy and staff are amazing and very accommodating. We are already planning to come back
We stayed coronation weekend for some fishing. The location is stunning,we had a large family room (2 double beds), and the beds are really comfy if u can sleep! Nightclub directly below bedrooms is noisy till 3am Friday and Saturday and Wednesday, but we still slept through it. The reception area is never manned, so if you need earplugs or anything else, u have to go looking. There was NO CHEF employed, so no food. Luckily, there are lots of lovely places to eat very close by. Lovely outdoor seating area, but again NO COOKED BREAKFAST, just tea coffee cereal toast, etc. We had a most enjoyable weekend.
Only went for lunch here. There was a group of 8 and it was no problem seating us. Food qas amazing and value for money. The only complaint was service was rather slow ( we were the only ones there, apart from a couple having drinks). I would absolutely recommend for a meal and have since been back twice.
Me and my mate rob dropped into the Lomond park hotel to start our journey for some food and a drink. Couldn't of been a righter choice. The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was superb and fast out of the kitchen, even with a with a large function going on in the back. Would highly recommend, and will be back on my next trip to Scotland. Ted and rob.
Really good. Delighted we found this wee place, a little set back from the road and away from the crowds. Food was great, nice and hearty. Beer was good, and the accompanying whisky was just the thing. Highly recommend. Great with the kids as well. Clean plates all round!
This hotel additonally has a pub, restaurant and nightclub attached to the venue. Expecting it to be loud, I can say it didn't seem loud at all. The rooms were clean, spacious and had a sink in (I was in a room with a shared bathroom). You have 1 toilet room and a toilet and shower room, these were extremely modern and clean! Never had an issue with the shared bathroom, never had to wait or seen anyone else use them! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when checking in and helping with activities around the area. The hotel is situations a couple of minutes walk from Balloch train station which is super convenient as well as being 10 minute walk from Loch Lomond, Sea life and other great spots! Highly recommend this place to stay! Fantastic experience for a 3 night stay over the weekend.
Didn't stay at the hotel but it had a nice pub in Balloch with great food and an even lovelier atmosphere. Waiters were friendly, and food was served about 15 minutes after 3 of us ordered. Lovely place to take a break from the cold outside. Reasonably priced food slightly less than 10 Pounds, and their 2 mains for 12 pounds deal (valid from 12 - 2pm, Mon - Fri) was really great.
